Do you have a good post for it or are you just using the stock one from feature cam?

I have ones I changed. They work OK for what I need. What version of FC are you using? I am now on v16sp5 but I think I did save posts from some older versions.

Matt,
Here is the one I am using now. This still contains an old format I was using to call the code/comment.bas to force a M00. I haven't got around to changing this one to use a toolpath instead of the code/comment yet. If it is missing something you want or you have any questions, I'll try to answer as best I can. Just to state the obvious - use with caution. This post may have things different than what you are used to.
Dan
Almost forgot - as usual - change the .zip to .cnc

Thanks Dan I'll see how it works. What machine are you using this post for? We got a 96 Saber from a closing local tool shop, this control is a "little" strange to me so far.

We have a Cincinnati Arrow VMC750. We mainly use it for making our real small and very close tolerance parts (it has glass scales), so it is babied. Had a few repair issues as compared to the Mori Seiki's we use, but not all that bad considering the price difference. I haven't been on a machine in a while but when I was I really liked this control and the machine. I've used Fanuc, Okuma, Yasnac, Heidenhain, GE, Bridgeport and probably a few more controls I forgot and the 2100 control was one of my favorites.
Again, if you have any questions I'll be glad to help out if I can.
Dan

On these controls how do I activate the cutter comp and have my size come out right? I used both your post and the feature cam post and both are cutting to the center of the tool even though I have a G41. My tool shows a nominal dia. of .500 and a dia offset of 0.0 on my control at the machine. What am I doing wrong? I know the offsets work different than on our Haas and Fadal machines but don't I have to designate something on the G41 line(D(tool#)) or something?

Matt,
We always put whatever comp. value we want in the Dia. Offset register. We do not use full diameter comp. We only use comp. to make small adjustments, but it should be the same either way. I've never entered it anywhere else. We just leave the Nominal Diameter register at 0.00. I think that is just for visuals on the machine.
