 Post subject: Help in evaluation mode

I've run across an interesting quirk with the FC business model. When you are in evaluation mode i.e. auditioning the software there is no support available. You send them a drawing and a couple weeks later they schedule a web meeting where a very knowledgeable support engineer shows you how he programmed your part. But if you're having trouble working through how to do it yourself tough luck. I don't think I or my customers have any parts that are so difficult that you couldn't eventually get them programmed on any software it's the ease of use for YOU that matters. This is compounded by the fact that FC has salesmen not sales engineers like a good number of vendors have, i.e. Gibbs, MC, SurfCam etc so they can't help you. In spite of this I still like the software enough to want to work through some probably stupid simple problems on a part and am wondering if anyone out there has 10 minutes to spend on the phone? Thanks.
